Gifts to Enjoy Outdoors

Stylists gifts for outdoors

Spring is almost with us, and with every passing winter’s day I’m planning outdoor adventures for the brighter and lighter months ahead.

This gift guide is for all you folks who dig fresh air, nature and days spent outside; featuring stylish goodies from body care and seasonal guides, to cute eyewear and handmade hip flasks. Here’s to making the most of the outdoors this year!

From left to right:

If there’s an annual ritual I enjoy the most it’s wearing my sunglasses for the first time that year. These oversized sunglasses with a pop of fresh green on their arms are a stylist treat for anyone who loves to dose up om their vitamin D. You can get yours from Anthropologie.

I’m a big fan of this 2 Person picnic pouch. It features all the picnic essentials for your partner/friend and comes in a practical and colourful carry case. Who doesn’t love a picnic?

I’ve mentioned this brand on my blog before (Why I love the Outdoors post) but it deserves another mention! There are lots of stylish backpacks out there nowadays but I don’t know many that have the ethical credentials like Absolutely Bear. Plus, this cedar backpack hasn’t been off my back in weeks, and only £45!

If you’re anything like me you’ll love to bring your camera into the wilderness with you, but on days when you don’t want to carry around a cumbersome DSLR camera, why not step up your smartphone photography with a 3-in-1 Lens Kit.

For long walks in the spring sunshine you’ll need a space for lip balm, suncream and any other essentials. To keep your backpack organised, how about this brightly printed wash bag from Oliver Bonas.

Not just for foragers, gardeners and nature enthusiasts, The Almanac: a Seasonal Guide to 2018 by Award-winning gardener and food writer Lia Leendertz is a great pocket-sized gift to help you reconnect with the seasons. And that means winter too. I’ll be adding this to my basket on my birthday.

Budding photographer? Carry your camera in style using this Kate Sheridan handmade camera strap, made in-house in a London studio from premium Italian vegetable tanned leather. Well made, last a life-time gifts are the BEST.

To soak away the aches and pains after a long day outdoors try these bath salts from my favourite beauty brand L’Occitane. Made with the essential oils of lavender, bergamot, mandarin, sweet orange and geranium. Every bath does a pot.

Be still my beating heart. I am besotted with The Botanist Hip Flask made by HÔRD. I mean just look at the illustration on the leather casing. These made to order flasks are made from stainless steel and wrapped in genuine leather and  arrive in a gift box, with a funnel too. What a beautiful gift, worthy of your favourite tipple.
