9 Awesome White T-Shirts

white alternative t-shirtsThere is no doubt I use the word ‘awesome’ quite a lot but trust me in that I mean every syllable of the word in relation to these white printed t-shirts. I love the versatility of a white tee; they can be worn in any season, with or without layers, dressed up or down or as your favourite night-shirt (a few of my band tees end up being worn at night purely because they make me happy). The best thing about them of course is that they are affordable. Here’s some of my favourites from the high street and beyond.

From left to right:

The Be Kind T-shirt (£22) from Alphabet Bags has been embroidered in a rainbow of colours and is made from 100% combed and ring-spun cotton. Each top has been embroidered in the UK with the message ‘Be Kind’. Well, OK then. Just lovely.

Yeah, I know I’m 37 and I shouldn’t really be coveting mermaid t-shirts. But who cares. Gimme the Mermaid print T-shirt (£12.99) from Pull & Bear. NOW!

You all probably remember Katharine Hamnett’s iconic 80’s Choose Life slogan and you might already know these t-shirts too. Help Refugees teamed up with Hamnett to create this Choose Love t-shirt helping to raise funds and awareness for people caught up in the refugee crisis. Buy your Choose Love T-shirt (£19) here.

I love the cute Sketch Face (£18) t-shirt by Tee & Cake from Topshop. Dress it up, and wear with a velvet/leather pencil skirt for added texture and style.

Printsome, online T-Shirt printing agency based in the UK, wrote this article on 21 best Youtuber merchandise shops so I thought I’d see which bloggers were doing the same (I know Zoella is big on her merch). The only one that stood out was Girl Vs Cancer and her brilliant Tit-Tees, where 25% of sales are donated to GIRLvsCANCER’s partner charities. Merchandise done right, hey? P. S Look out for this Bill Skinner Bee Jewellery Collection she has just launched too. Gorgeous Christmas ideas!

This simple and chic Embroidered Tee (£15) from Monki would make a great gift, paired with a sleep mask and a book too. Give the gift of shut-eye this Crimbo.

Mango do great t-shirts. Fact. This alternative Mickey Mouse T-shirt from Mango with embroidered and sequin detail goes that one step further, and it’s only £19.99 too.

The oversized Adidas Trefoil Boxy T-shirt from Topshop is the most pricey of the bunch at £33, but would make a great wardrobe staple, with its monochrome iconic logo.

Ah, the band t-shirt. I have my favourites already but Patti Smith defiitely needs to be added to the list. This T-shirt (£8.45) from Etsy features a flyer design from a 1970s poetry reading by Patti Smith. LOVE it.

What’s your favourite from the list?
