Travel: TeamLab Floating Flower Garden at Maison & Objet Paris

I probably should write-up my time spent in Paris in chronological order but I couldn’t wait to share one of my favourite moments. A day by day account is too methodical for my liking anyhoo so we’ll begin with day two in Paris, and our main reason for visiting the capital, a day at Maison & Objet.

While Katy met with stockists for her online shop, Haykin, (look out for mighty fine goods of simplicity and colour!), I browsed brands for interior inspiration. Before this, I did have to take a 45 minute detour back to the hotel for my SD card (tell me I’m not the only blogger who forgets to remove their memory card from their laptop?).

The detour was worth it so I could capture the magical TeamLab Floating Flower Garden; the one thing I didn’t want to miss at Maison & Objet. Groups of four were invited into the interactive white, mirrored space alongside 2000 suspended flowers slowly raising up and down as we passed through. I would have happily set up picnic in there if I were allowed, alas we were only allocated 2 minutes each in the space.
