At Home: #MyBath

I’m a tad independent and have always enjoyed time spent on my tod, but it’s safe to say I’ve not truly appreciated quality me time until now. Being a puppy owner will do that.

Polly is gorgeous, clever and sweet but boy has she been a shock to the system! No matter how much you read about puppies (and we’ve been wanting a dog for years) nothing prepares you for the madness and exhaustion that comes with welcoming a puppy into your home. So of course when Matalan Direct, the newly launched home improvements sister brand to Matalan, challenged me to make my ultimate bubble bath and indulge in some quality time doing nothing, I jumped at the chance. It’s great to see another home improvements brand and their bathroom collections are spot on too. All hail the fountain tap!

Alongside the coconut vanilla candle and diffuser they sent me, I was able to choose products using a Boots voucher that would compliment the scent. My choices included OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo, Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner, Hydration Coconut Water and some Botanics favourites too.  I rarely get the chance to give my hair a treat so indulging with the OGX range was pretty special. The rest? Simple. A good read and the radio playing a favourite tune or two. Can I make this a more regular thing?

A big thank you to Matalan Direct for making my usual bath routine a litle more special. I’m afraid Polly doesn’t quite share my enthusiasm for baths though…
