Yesterday I sat down to write my Glastonbury Festival list. You know the one; baby wipes, paracetamol, sun cream etc (runs around the room in excitement). So I thought I’d add my festival checklist to the internet (do forgive me) just in case you’re off to a festival too and need a quick go-to guide from a thirty something lass who’s survived lots of festivals.
My festival survival list has changed over the years. In other words I’ll now do anything I can to ensure I get a good night’s kip. So I’ve swapped roll mats for blow up beds, rolled up jumpers for inflatable pillows and a 2 man tent for a spacious 5 man tent. Yup, I’m all about comfort now, my friends. Living the dream.
Style wise, I’m comfortable wearing dresses which I can wear with or without leggings (dependent on the weather), jeans and cosy jumpers for the cold evenings and colourful accessories. Scarfs are always a great festival must-have that can double up as picnic blankets and cover ups when the sun is shining. Oh and don’t forget the sunglasses!
As for beauty, I try to keep it minimal. Whether the sun is shining or not, I’ll be topping up my sun cream often so I usually just wear lip and cheek stain, concealer and a little waterproof mascara.
All that’s left is to check the weather forecast one final time (cross those fingers folks). Are you off to a festival this year, or are you heading to Glastonbury too?
