Lately: Summer, Meadows and Time Out

happiness

I mentioned in a previous blog post what a silly, busy, stressful time this next week is going to be before we go on holiday so you may wonder why I’m blogging and giving myself more things to do? In truth, the blog is my happy place. If I don’t pick out the joy and share the moments that put a smile on my face then I’ll be consumed by everything else. Plus I think it’s really important to take out time from work to re-energise, if even for half an hour. Cue the buttercups!

I’m so lucky. So very lucky. Ony 10 minutes from our house is this. This beautiful space filled with woodland, meadows, streams and hills *spins around like Maria!*. So I took advantage of the sunshine today, and with my camera and tripod by my side I headed to hills for a little lunch break.

I walked away with a big smile on my freckled face and a promise that my lunch breaks, when working from home, always need to include buttercups. Summer, can you arrange this?

What have you been up to lately folks?
