Lately: Brighton, Gigs and Spring Nails

Hello! How are we all on this jolly Friday? After what was a pretty manic week the week before, I’m happy to say this one was more to my liking. Probably because there was a lot of biscuits, music and films involved!

So what have I been up to? I went to a hen do in Brighton a couple of weeks ago which was fun, fun, fun and I got to spend a little time on the beach which put a MASSIVE smile on my face. So much so it gave me an idea for future adventures. More on that soon!

I promised myself to go to more gigs this year (my happy place) and over the past week we’ve seen Super Furry Animals and Belle and Sebastian at Manchester Albert Hall. I love that venue and the SFA gig reaffirmed my love of Gruff. Mmm Gruff. Now I’m counting the days till Glastonbury Festival – just 6 weeks to go!

In memory of the blossom falling from the trees Just My Look treated me to the SS15 OPI collection and I’m loving my new blossom pink nails! There’s also a bright coral, purple and fresh mint green to try (c/o Just My Look); a nice change from my usual red or black shades.

Hmm, what else? My week has included cinema screening days with work (love my job), a hair cut, a long walk, signing petitions, reading lots of post election articles and blog planning. I’ve eaten biscuits sent from my friends at Carpetright to celebrate their new website and I’ve been wearing dungarees a lot. I think I’m ready for another pair!
