Made! DIY Hashtag Diamond/Star Thank You Card

I have lots of people in my life who are awesome on a day-to-day basis so I thought I’d make a simple DIY, using materials I already have at home, to say thank you!

To make a DIY Hashtag Diamond/Star Thank You Card you will need:

Washi tape
Card stock
Scissors
Pen (I used a uni-ball signo broad white pen) or stamping kit
Plain card to create diamond or star shape.
Glue

Instructions:

Cut out a diamond shape (in two parts) from card. See above photograph for example*
Divide the triangle part of the diamond shape into three parts (outline with pen) then cut out.
Wrap washi tape around each part. I wanted some of the card to show to add contrast to the pink!
Cut three small triangles for the top of diamond and stick in place as shown above
Put each of the pieces together and glue to your card stock
Cut out a length of washi tape and stick below your shape
Write your message with a contrasting pen or stamping kit

*For the star, simply cut out a star template from card and cover with washi tape.
