Lately: Hebden Bridge, Arts Festival and Open Studios
Well hello July. You’re going to be full of awesomness aren’t you? With ice cream and sunshine and pina coladas in a can. Magic.
Now I’ve had a word, I can enjoy all the loveliness I’ve spotted on my doorstep lately courtesy of the Arts Festival, Open Studios and the days running up to Le Tour Yorkshire. Dinosaurs hanging from trees, a blow up lobster in the square, and glorious bunting everywhere; hooray for summer in Hebden Bridge!
So much creativity! If you’re around the area this weekend to celebrate Le Tour Yorkshire then make sure you visit the talented folk opening up their homes and studios for the annual Open Studio weekend, including Julia Ogden’s pop-up studio at Hat Therapy on Market St (pictured above).
Now, where’s my pina colada, July?

I’ve heard it said that Hebden Bridge is the most creative place in England; judging from these photos, they’re not wrong!! Loving the lobster!
