At Home: Colour, Texture and Light

Days at home doing nothing much are my favourite kind of days. You know the ones spent in dressing gowns, comfy socks and unkempt hair? Bliss. Although I spent a good chunk of my bank holiday working on a new adventure, I did manage to rest up and got down to some serious house pottering. Here’s a few pictures of the small things in our home that make me happy right now. If you like a good nosy at other folks homes (like me), you can see previous posts, here, here and here, with lots more to come!

Our new handmade pink knitted pouf c/o Habitat serves as the perfect foot rest, snack table and seat. With the dense cotton crochet knit it adds lovely texture too and is the perfect solution for adding alternative seating to our small and cosy lounge. The muted pink/grey colour fits in well with our lounge decor but I’m sure it would suit any scheme. No doubt, when the niece and nephew come over to play, it will create hours of amusement too!
