Moments That Mattered 2013

This time last year I was packing my suitcase and satchel, a month in anticipation, for our 3 week trip to Western Australia.

I saw Koala Bears, Kangaroos, drank amazing wine, jumped off a pontoon into the sea (took me 3 weeks to sum up the courage), saw a Black Widow Spider and didn’t freak out (much), listened to live music, ate amazing food, spent quality time with family and generally had a ball.

So, it was a no-brainer when Lloyds Bank asked me what my favourite moment of 2013 was, and to share it with my readers. Why Australia of course! Exploring new places, being by the sea and spending quality time with the people I love the most is the best type of moment in my eyes. Plus, it’s nice to feel a little sunshine on my blog, isn’t it?

Hopefully we will be recreating this type of moment with a holiday to Italy later this year, after the World Cup is done with (the OH is counting the days!). I’ve already started bookmarking places to stay in the Cinque De Terre area. Any recommendations folks?

What was you favourite moment of 2013?

I have no idea what my favourite moment was. I think though this is because there were so many lovely moments, five weddings, nine babies and so much fun besides to choose would be churlish!
