Bettys were kind enough to send me a Valentine’s treat – a perfectly packaged box of their Raspberry and Chocolate Macaroons .
Ideal for sharing, the OH gave the light meringue-like biscuits the thumbs-up, as did I, and continued to devour the box on a Sunday afternoon made up of The Good Life, Oh Comely magazine, scribbling in my diary and sipping copious amounts of English Breakfast tea. Sundays were made for such bliss.
