On Our Travels: London
Here are some more photographs of our time in London the other week while celebrating the OH’s birthday. Travelodge treated us to a stay at the Southwark hotel, which we’ve now discovered is a great location for beavering around London. We arrived a little early for 3pm check-in but we were able to leave our bags with left luggage for a charity donation of £1 (some Travelodge’s don’t do this). Lately: London, Naturalizer Boots and The British Museum
We ventured to London for the weekend to celebrate the OH’s birthday and to have some proper time off before the festive fun/madness begins. Little did we know that the festive fun and madness had all congregated to London for the weekend – so many people! Diary Dates: 10 Awesome Things To Do In June
I refuse to waffle on about how quickly these months of ours are passing by (HOW QUICK?!) instead I’m looking forward to the month of June, and ignoring the fact that we didn’t get Glastonbury Festival tickets this year (holds fingers in ears and yells ‘la la la la la’ repeatedly). Photo Walk: Blogtacular
The one thing I was looking forward to most at Blogtacular was the photo walk with Xanthe Berkeley. I was really keen to do at least one hands-on workshop where I could practice using both my DSLR and phone camera, alongside online friends. Made By Molu on the Photo Walk Well that was one special weekend. I went to Blogtacular, the London blogging conference for creatives, and I can’t reiterate enough how awesome it was. It feels like I’ve been given a new lease of life, direction, motivation and the push I needed to give my blog a good shake-up.
