A Week in Walks #2

It’s been a great week for walking with Polly in Hebden Bridge. Mainly because of the sunshine and the onset of lighter evenings but more importantly because I don’t have to wash Polly every time we walk in the door. The struggle is real, my friends.

She has this new ‘thing’ where she stands over a puddle, looks at me (no joke) then lays down in it soaking her golden belly full of mud. Little beggar. So the less it rains, the happier my post-walk routine is (switching the kettle and radio on then cracking on with work).

I’m trying my best to focus on one thing at a time at the moment to try and ease all the silly anxiety issues I’ve been having. Taking my camera with me on solo and family walks rather than using my phone has meant I’m focusing on my surroundings more, making me feel more relaxed and in the moment. Even if that moment is Polly rolling in dirt with a mischievous grin on her face.  Here’s my favourite photos this week…

Where have you been walking this week?

Polly is so gorgeous! I am sort of glad my lab is black. Same amount of mud but somehow doesn’t seem as stressful seeing mud on a black dog. 🙂 Hope you are ok. Your photos are always lovely. 🙂
