Home and Style Finds #26

From left to right:

1| Water Carafe (£7.50) from Hema. I need to drink more water. I NEED to drink more water. Maybe having a stylish carafe on my desk might tempt me to top up my glass more frequently? Purchase totally justified, my friends.

2| I picked up this ARTHOUSE Meath chocolate from Rad Studio in Saltaire on a visit last week. The charity ARTHOUSE Meath is a UK based social enterprise. All illustrations (check out their online shop above) are created by adults living with severe epilepsy and learning difficulties.
Having family who suffered with the disease, and partaking in it myself (13 years seizure free!) it’s heartening to know such an organisation exists. The chocolate is damn tasty too.

3| Oh ankle boots. I just can’t get enough of you! These Buckle Ankle Boots (£29.99) from Quiz Clothing would look peachy worn casually with a midi skirt and chunky knit.

4| I love the new active wear range from F&F clothing in collaboration with Davina McCall. I tend to wear the same workout clothes each week so I’m on the lookout for new leggings that can take a strenuous work out. These Blurred Print Leggings (£14) are right up my street if only for the high waist band. Bravo Davina!

5| More than ever this year I’m keen to make the most of our days on this planet; enjoying work, relishing days off and celebrating. Got a birthday coming up? Add these tall blue, green & silver glitter cake candles from Meri Meri via Rad Studio (£6 for 24) for  a stylish finishing touch to any celebration cake! Victoria Sponge for me please.

6| For some, taking their bra off at the end of a long day feels epic. For me, it’s putting on a pair of cosy socks. I love the colour combo of these lambswool Fair Isle Socks (£24) from Trouva.

7| Like the rest of the UK I’m living in jumpers this winter. They’re a comfort on hard days when everything feels a bit ‘meh’. Uniqlo do great knits. I especially love this Extra Fine Merino Wool Jumper in blue, and only £24.90 too.

8| I’m somehow managing to keep up my reading resolution and am on my second book of the month (which is really good for me guys!). I’ve got a pile to read but would love to add Jodi Picoult’s Small Great Things to my birthday list. Anyone read it?

9| Finally, I was gifted the Neal’s Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm at Christmas and can’t recommend it enough. I use it at night for my face (extra dry areas), on my nails and my lips. A perfect all rounder!
