Wardrobe Details: Long Grey Skirt, Black Jumper and Backpack

The week has whizzed by since returning home from End of the Road Festival. I’ve only just about got to grips with reality after having 10 days off. Coffee has been drunk, Polly has received all the cuddles and plenty of festival tunes  have been listened to. I’ll share my phone pictures from the festival on the blog this weekend – it was a hoot!

Since coming home I’ve been playing catch up with cinema and freelance work, and just in time for the weekend I thought I might catch up on the blog too. We did manage to have a couple of evenings out this week though, trying to make the most of these final summer nights. Have you noticed how darker it’s getting already? Le sigh.

We scraped some pennies together (festivals are very expensive aren’t they?) for an evening’s dog walk via the pub. I’ve been pretty rubbish with sorting my washing out lately and managed to cobble this outfit together, which looking back, I really like. I like the sporty feel of the long grey tube skirt coupled with the chunky knit jumper, trainers and Harley Backpack. A pretty simple outfit that I’ve never thought of putting together before. So there are positives to letting the washing pile get out of hand…

Introducing my new favourite hands-free accessory, the Harley Backpack from Radley; great for evenings out like this when you need something practical, and chic too. It’s big enough to fit all my essentials in and in super-versatile black, it’s a safe choice for my wardrobe. I love its contrasting lining, and the zipped compartments and side pockets make it a practical choice for travel.

Isn’t it funny what you stumble upon in your local area just by purposefully looking? We found so many nice backdrops to take photos of my new bag. It’s ridiculous how a blue garage door and graffiti wall can make a 36 year lass excited. I think I’ve been blogging for far too long. Ahem.
