More lists? More positive things? Well, yes. Because if I don’t focus on all these moments then my brain might pop with everything else going on. I hope that’s coolio with you? Tremendous.

I had the opportunity to go to a screening day for work. Which basically means I get to watch pre-released films for the day, that might be appropriate for the cinema I work in. I might have pinched myself numerous times throughout the day. Seriously folks, having a job you love makes everything easier. Anyway, I’m reminded of this awesome day with this promotional tote bag…Everyone should have access to cinema that nourishes the soul and changes lives. Quite right.

The OH hasn’t smoked for over 2 months! It’s amazing and I’m so proud of him for quitting all by himself and doing it during a very stressful time at work.

Polly’s now officially swimming! As I’m a pretty rubbish swimmer, this makes me super proud (yeah, I know she’s a do. Plus with the heat and all, it’s lovely to be able to take her down to the river for a dip.

Do you have phases with food? Well, for now I’m into porridge. I’m currently addicted to Rude Health’s 5 Grain 5 Seed Porridge, topped with honey and blueberries. There’s something restorative about making porridge over the hob in the morning. Anyhoo…

Journeys on the train. I’ve figured lately I’m at my happiest when I travel, whether it be on a train or on a road trip. There’s a sense of freedom and possibility I don’t feel anywhere else, apart from walking Polly in the countryside near us. Time to get planning…

The Avalanches new album is out and it is everything I hoped for. 16 years since their debut album, Wildflower is the perfect summer soundtrack. Also, I can’t stop listening to Post Pop Progression by Iggy Pop. SO good. Go listen now!

New grey leather shoes c/o Jones Bootmaker. I LOVE them. Summer-loving footwear that look just as good with a pair of jeans as well as a summery dress. Hurrah.

I teamed them in this outfit with a new cotton shirt, and summer staple, I bought from H&M  but have since been wearing them daily (I go through phases with shoes too…).

PJ Harvey! We got tickets to see her in Manchester. I can’t believe it. I might have been slightly emotional when I managed to get tickets. Ahem.

My sister and I are doing the Memory Walk in Leeds hoping to raising funds for Dementia. After Dad’s diagnosis I’ve felt pretty useless in ways to help my family but this is something positive I can do. I’ll share the Just Giving page when I’ve set it all up if you fancy sponsoring us?

Listening to Radio 3. I like the lunchtime concert. So there.

Have you seen Stranger Things on Netflix? OH MY. Think ET meets Twin Peaks. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait to watch more this week.

Trips to see friends. We ate at Lasan, Gordon Ramsey’s Best Indian Restaurant; we put the world to rights and played with Snapchat. Fun times.

What have you been up to lately?
