Wardrobe Details: 50% Chance of Rain

Hello May! Can you believe it? We’ll be half way through the year before we know it so I want to make sure I really appreciate the month of May. The flowers, the sunshine (albeit fleeting) but most of all time spent outdoors.

It’s been a strange old time, weather wise, here in the UK, which makes it impossible to decide what to wear. It’s a bit surreal knowing this time last month I was wearing shorts and sunglasses in Australia and am now donning woolly hats and gloves again!

Every time I take Polly out for her walks I’m having to wrap up warm, only to take it all off again minutes later.

My main priority is staying dry so I’m wearing my new waterproof jacket c/o Lighthouse Clothing. Green is my new favourite colour so I couldn’t resist this Seagrass Bluejay jacket, my new spring wardrobe essential.

It’s all about the details so here’s what I love about the jacket. It’s a short, hip length jacket (always a flattering length), the lining (blue stripes), the inside pocket (perfect for my iPod and dog treats!), the nautical style drawcords, and the turn up sleeves. Finally, the colour. I love to wear bright colours when the weather ain’t so pretty so the bright green was an obvious choice for me. It just so happened this particular day was mighty fine.
