Home & Style Finds #12

Home and StyleHappy March y’all! I don’t know about you but I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Boy has this been a wet winter. But spring is kinda/almost/nearly here and I’m looking forward to the warmer months ahead, and our trip to Australia in a few weeks. The promise of sunshine is seeing me through, my friends.

Anyhoo, back to my latest home and style finds! From left to right…

1| We’ve been living in our current house for a year and a half now and in that time we’ve wanted to change the shocking wall lights that are in our bedroom. And I really mean shocking folks. But have we? Have we heck. As it requires actual effort, including calling an electrician, we’ve let it slide. No more time wasting, my friends. These Artemide wall lamps via Lampcommerce are exactly what we’re looking for.

2| Looking for last-minute Mother’s Day gift ideas? For design/textile lovers why not treat her to a Ezra Cushion (£45) via Habitat. If you’re on a budget, check out their more affordable selection of cushions too – I just particularly like the colour combination on this one.

3| M&S do great collaborations (anyone looking forward to the Alexa Chung one coming soon?) and the Rosie for Autograph makeup range is no different. For new mum’s, a little something from this rose gold packaged collection would be a treat. I’m loving the cream blush, lip and eyeshadow for quick and easy application (hello busy mum’s!) but I’m also coveting this Eyeshadow Palette too (£18) via M&S.

4| Beautifully packaged, the Jansen + Co Candle Holder (£23.50) via Houseology makes a perfect gift this Mothering Sunday, for fans of minimal, on-trend style. Available in copper/yellow, copper/pink, copper/blue and white.

5| The OH bought me this Brave backpack (£98) via Matt and Nat in black for Christmas and I can’t stop talking and recommending to friends (or anyone who will listen). Not only has it saved my shoulders but it looks pretty darn grand too. This neutral shade is peachy too. Ideal for the sunnier months ahead.

6| Finalising your holiday plans for the year and already picking up travel supplies for the trip? Why not treat yourself to this chic Marble Wash Bag (£19.50) via Oliver Bonas. The colour block marble effect teamed with the pink zip and interior is a great combo. Guaranteed to brighten up your morning routine.

7| Pull and Bear do great T-Shirts. Always different, always affordable and destined to put a smile on your face. Your wardrobe lacking in dinosaurs? Look no further! T-shirt (£9.99) via Pull and Bear.

8| These Ace + Spades sandals (£95) are designed in the UK and made using Italian leather in their family run factory in Menorca. Featuring a rainbow of colour combinations your feet are sure to happy this summer. Love this brand.

9| I can’t believe we’re off to Australia soon. I need to raid my wardrobe to see what passes as summer clothing but I know I need to pick up some shorts and other bits too. Oh and a new suitcase. That might be useful. These navy Linen Shorts (£29.95) via White Stuff are what I’m looking for, to team with striped t-shirts and my trusty Birkenstocks.
