At Home: Coveting Pink
Found on Pinterest | MikeyEStrada
Our second hand faux leather sofa has seen better days so we’ve been looking for a new cosy couch to add some colour and comfort to our living space. Our colour of choice being a dark teal blue to fit with the furnishings we already own, is one we both really like too. However during my hunt for the perfect sofa, which we found via Habitat (more on that soon), I couldn’t stop pinning and subsequently coveting any room I saw with the colour pink in it.
Unfortunately the colour just wouldn’t work in our living/dining space without us having to change the whole room, and I’m not sure the OH, or our bank balance, would appreciate that. So, in case you’re thinking of decorating or investing in a new sofa before Autumn lands, I thought I’d share some of these pink delights with you.

The coral shade of pink hits all the right notes for creating a homely, romantic and relaxed feel to your home. This warm colour is really versatile and would work perfectly with pastel blues, copper, greens and greys. I love the final room above with its understated cosy decor.

This is another shade of pink I love and it shows how well contrasting colours work together. This contemporary space uses black to make the pink pop, and helps to create a bold yet elegant feel to the room. This shade would work really well with navy too. Oh my, the possibilities!

It also proves to be a popular choice for those with vintage and eclectic tastes. I love the Chesterfield sofa in the top right; chic, rustic and timeless all rolled into one.

What do you think? Tempted by pink?
