Hebden Bridge
One of my main goals this year is to feature Hebden Bridge, the place I call home, more on the blog. I’ve lived here for over 6 years (the longest I’ve stayed anywhere, apart from my childhood home) and feel I know the place pretty well now. Having said that, there is still walks I haven’t walked, shops I haven’t popped in to and faces I haven’t met.
So with my camera in hand, I’ll be scouring out my favourite spots, shops, walks, markets and attractions that might tempt you to this happy valley one day soon, and hopefully open my eyes a little too. Sound good to you?
In the meantime, here’s some photographs of Hebden Bridge I’ve taken over the last couple of years.

It really is lovely. Plus it’s only a short train ride to Manchester and Leeds so you can make it into a mini holiday. Oh and you can get a direct train to York too : )

I’m hoping to visit Hebden Bridge sometime over the summer (between June and August). Are there any particular summer festivals or events that I should check out?
Lisa
Ah, it’s very pretty when the sun shines! There’s the Arts Festival that runs for a month between June and July, Handmade Parade, Trades Club (look out for special events) and lots more. Visit Hebdenbridge.co.uk for lots of other listings and events. I’ll add festivals and events to my blog series too if that helps : )

I’ve visited a couple of times and really loved it.Do you know of any nearby camp sites?
Lisa
The one that I hear people talk about a lot is the Hebden Bridge Camping site next to The New Delight Inn – great walks and pub nearby! Short drive into the town : )
