Lately: South Pennines Walk
Hello there, how are we all? Feeling chipper I hope? My week has been a productive one so far and I’m positive that’s because of last weekend’s antics. We had a proper day off resting on Saturday then on Sunday we went walking with friends, followed by a pub lunch, a film and an awesome evening celebrating bonfire night (belated) with the neighbours.
Our walk began at the Shepherd’s Rest pub (our reward after) and took us 40 minutes up onto the moors via Gaddings Reservoir overlooking Stoodley Pike. As usual I imagined I was Cathy from Wuthering Heights…

Very Wuthering Heights. Love the crags. Hopefully taking our new pup on his first outing this saturday. Probably the Castle grounds near where I live and the local pub. 🙂
