Lately: Weekend Walks and Home
On Sunday afternoon we chose to grab some fresh air and explore the public footpaths near our new home. We both seem to be working our asses off lately so having the chance to have a few hours off, with no plan, felt great – and on our doorstep too. When we returned from our little ramble we managed to have some quiet moments at home, and a hot chocolate too (with marshmallows). Now I can’t complain can I?
Reading, painting nails and watching TV is a luxury at the moment (moaning again), nevertheless I managed to read a couple of articles in Kinfolk magazine. Lena Dunham’s new book is next…
Walks in the woods just 5 mins from our house – yay!
Derelict mills and tree-filled chimney pots!
One craft at a time! I’ve decided if I’m going to get crafty again (which I am) then I need to start one project at a time. First up, very simple friendship bracelets for November. Hello Liberty fabric!
Dr Who is on our doorstep!
I picked up a selection of The New Yorker postcards at our local antiques centre. I can’t wait to frame the taxi one for my sister who was married there.
Oo-er missus!
Possibly the cutest barge and mooring building I’ve ever seen.
The new colour in our bedroom! We still need to correct a few mistakes with white paint (the masking tape didn’t work well) but I’m so happy with this hue!
If you’re looking for interior inspiration don’t forget to check out the Most Wanted blog. Here’s a few posts I’ve written for them lately: Throws and Blankets, Stylish Serveware, John Lewis House Range, Fireside Accessories, Mary Berry Kitchen Range, Marvellous Marble and Top 10 Wall Clocks. Enjoy!
So there you have it, what have you been up to lately?

Thanks Hannah. It’s really important to get out even if just for half an hr!

Beautiful photos L – HB is clearly a gorgeous place. The ‘one project at a time bit of this struck a massive cord with me. I am currently working on finishing many started projects!

Thanks Lisa-Marie. I still love old Hebbers! I ended up giving away so much crafty stuff in the move because I felt disheartened by all the unfinished projects! Starting from fresh now…just in time for Christmas!
