Lately: Taking It Easy

I’m not going to lie, it’s not been the best week. I always look for the positives in a bad situation but when your health is involved everything, including looking on the bright side, is a bit hard.

I started the week with a sick day when I should have been working from home and have been living in the land of whoozy-ville since then. Oh the drama! All will be well I’m sure, as long as I listen to my body and take things easy over the next few days and get more sleep!

Anyhoo, enough of my moaning. Here’s some pictures living on my memory card right now.

Lovely,  lovely Gypsophilias gracing a couple of our rooms. I love how delicate they are; Flowers always make me feel better.

Ah Sunshine. I’ve really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings the past few days. I do believe that a little vitamin D perked me up.

Hydration! I’ve been drinking PG Tips fruit teas and herbal infusions for over a month after they sent me a selection of their new range to sample. I’ve finally got into a daily drinking routine and my favourites are the lemon green tea, delicate camomile and juicy raspberry. Camomile came in very handy after the England match last night…

Hmm, what else? Other little joys included watching birds eat from our bird feeder, talking to my folks, watching the season finale of Game of Thrones (oh my),  and taking delight in the simple things (because when you’re not feeling great, that’s all that matters).

Here’s hoping for a super fun, healthy and relaxing weekend!
