At Home: Airwick’s National Park Range

Working from home a lot and writing a blog means I spend most of my time in front of my laptop (happily) so finding an incentive to get out and about is sometimes hard. Another reason why we really need to get a dog.

Inspired by the new partnership between Airwick and the UK National Parks, including the Yorkshire Dales with its scent of White Roses and Pink Sweet Pea, I’m determined to seek out more of the countryside this Spring, especially when I am surrounded by all of this!

In the meantime, to deliver a little countryside into our home Airwick sent me a few samples of the Yorkshire Dales fragrance range to try out.

After three weeks of use, I was particularly impressed with the White Roses and Pink Sweet Pea plug ins and automatic spray. They both capture the subtle scent of the Yorkshire Dales really well and I’ll definitely be buying the liquid electrical refills and auto-spray refill from now on. However, I wasn’t keen on the gel variants for popping in cupboards – these did smell a little synthetic like air fresheners that I’ve ignored in the past, rather than purifying the air.

Do you use air fresheners in your home? Which National Park is close to you? Questions! Questions!

I don’t think anyone makes gel ones that are not super synthetic smelling – it is ick! I mostly use scented candles and also when I iron our bedding I spray with lavender water in the hope it will help us sleep better. White roses and sweet pea sounds lovely so may be worth checking out. I know there is a lot of green nearby but have no idea what any of those spaces are called – time to explore clearly!
