Autumn Style: 6 Coatigans

UK LIFESTYLE BLOG

L to R: Knitted Coatigan, Topshop // Double Breasted Coatigan, ASOS //  Paramount Coatigan, White Stuff // Religion Coatigan, Serene Order // Boucle Coatigan, Miss Selfridge // Stitch Yoke Coatigan, Boden

Is it a cardigan? Is it a coat? No, it’s a coatigan! Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Ahem.

I don’t particularly care what name given for these stylish cardigans. I like them a lot. Especially that one, oh and that one.

They’re perfect for transitioning from Summer to Autumn, and a great alternative to wearing coats in the cooler evenings. Plus, anything I can throw on inside (and outdoors) that makes me look slightly stylish without trying, I’m on board with.

All aboard the coatigan train!

P.S I will not, however, be joining in with all the ‘Skort’ fun. Meh.

P.P.S Did any of you watch the last episode of Breaking Bad last night? My oh my. TV at its very best!

I’m not sure if I’m a fan of the coatigan or not. I think they can look so chic on most people, and yet when I try one on all I look like is a bit of a tramp 😉

Ha! I’m sure you don’t! There is enough out there now to find the right one. Although you could just go for a coat…or a cardigan ; )

I wear oversize knits a lot anyway, so the coatigan is pretty much a wardrobe staple for me already – I do love that one from Miss Selfridge though, I like the way it’s sort of sculptured. *Adds to Christmas list*

Good choice. I have to be carefully as some chunky knits make me look like a big frump so I need a finer knit that keeps me warm too!
