At Home: Vintage-Inspired Work Spaces
I got a tad inspired whilst searching for ways to organise your work desk and ended up bookmarking all of these beautiful vintage inspired work spaces instead, hence the title and a very late evening.
For the amount of time we spend at our desks, at home or in an office, it seems only right to be able to jazz the space up and create something we’re happy spending time in. These vintage inspired spaces work perfectly using old furniture combined with contemporary technology, colours and patterns to create a balanced (and pretty) space. I don’t think you necessarily need lots of space to achieve any of the looks below (or even a spare room) and you needn’t spend money on storage containers if you have tins and jars around your home. Furniture can be found relatively cheaply, which you can paint or decoupage if it needs livening up, and files in alternate bright colours will balance out an aged desk perfectly.
Take a look at these amazing spaces below for inspiration. Links at the bottom of the page!

I love all of these. My favourite are the one with the pendant lamp that is set up for breakfast and the one with the blackboard sticker. I am very keen to update my work space at work this year and finally do the following
1. get a decent noticeboard
2. get a perpetual year planner
3. get my filing and desk storage sorted
At home I need a better desk as the one we have is RUBBISH but from there on in the sky will be the limit I am sure!

I love the second one! I am in the process of reworking my workspace and that one has really inspired me, thanks!

Love those, especially the symmetrical desk. I’m forever changing my desk and wall behind it around – there are just too many inspirational images floating about!
