Gift Guide: Gifts for Weddings

When it comes to buying a wedding gift, I’m perfectly happy going along with what the couple request on the invitation; a donation to their honeymoon fund perhaps or buying something from a curated wedding list. However for wedding couples who don’t ask for anything but the plesaure of your company or if you can’t make it to the wedding at all, it’s nice to find a little something to pop a smile on their faces.

A screen print is a thoughtful gift for a young couple and would also make a great gift for one year (paper) anniversary. This ‘All You Need is Love’ screen print by Particle Press and the Thousand Paper Cranes is peachy // Rope Door Stop by Matalan. Well, they are tying the knot?!// I was sent a perfectly proportioned Picnic Hamper for Two from Hampergifts and realised what a perfect gift this makes. You could even personalise it with a few added extras to make it unique (don’t forget confetti!). Check out Hampergifts for a great selection of tempting picnic hampers to buy online// Go contemporary with these Rob Ryan Tree Seasons Plates; an ideal gift for the sentimentalists out there!

The Love Is In The Air Tea Towel from Monsoon makes an affordable gift for the couple who have everything // Make a batch of wedding inspired cookies with these awesome Wedding Cookie Cutters from Amazon //Keith Brymer Jones word collection of ceramics make an ideal present for those starting out in their first home. Just one piece, like the Love Jug, will make a lovely token as much as a full set //The Vintage Wedding Cake Forks by The Faded Nest make a unique wedding gift, each hand stamped on vintage cutlery. Mmm, wedding cake.

Happy Thursday!

P.S 2 days till my (kind of) Brother-in-law’s wedding! Bolton Abbey here we come!

Disclosure: I was sent a hamper from Hampergifts to enjoy.
