Best British Designer-Makers: Karen Mabon

I can’t stop looking at these original hand-drawn scarfs by Karen Mabon, run under the label Red Brick. Karen graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2011 and has since been creating quirky and colourful accessories (including jewellery) that are affordable and unique. I think they’re awesome, let’s take a peek!

Karen’s statement scarfs are digitally and screen printed onto quality fabrics including silk and wool, with prices ranging from £35-£80. My favourites include the Tippi Hedren Seagull Silk Scarf inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, the Space Race Silk Square and the Gymnastics Scarf in red.
