Tote of the week: Nicola Taylor Photographer tote bag
Nicola Taylor is a wonderful self-portrait photographer based in North Yorkshire and London. To be honest I’ve never seen photography like it; images stitched together on a computer that create hauntingly beautiful, yet somehow familiar, stories. I’m lucky enough to work in a gallery that exhibits her work so get to gaze in admiration/awe (self-portrait!) while I dream of Brontësque scenarios on the heather-laden moors! Head to Heart Gallery in Hebden Bridge to see her work, it really is very special.
Anyhoo, back to the tote! One of my favourite Nicola Taylor photographs ‘Music for those who Listen‘ has been transferred lovingly onto this 100% cotton tote bag and can be bought online via her website for £9.50. Just beautiful.

I’m not usually drawn in by photos on bags and tshirts, but this is stunning! I want!
Also, I watched Jane Eyre yesterday, and it’s a loved book, and you are right, there is a lot of Bronte in that image.

I saw this image in Cakewalk in Ilkley too and instantly thought ‘Wuthering Heights’ – she is a great photographer isn’t she?
