Hebden Bridge

Weekend.

Unfortunately over the past couple of weeks I haven’t been feeling too great, and this weekend, was no exception. Oh woe is me! I really don’t want to have a moan about it as the only thing (I beleive) that keeps you going, is to stay positive, and I’ve had my fair share of illnesses to prove that I’m right. I’m off to the doctors (at last) so hopefully will be on tip-top form soon. So, apologies if my weekend antics aren’t as joyous as normal, although looking back it was still a lovely weekend, a fine weekend. As you can see, I still have an appetite for food! Mmm, nom.

My weekend was made up of:

Poached eggs, cups of tea, sleeping, blog reading, writing notes/plans, tomato soup, chocolate buttons, lemon cheese sandwiches cut into quarters (instant feel better food), walks – to clear the cobwebs, blackberry picking, Of Gods and Men (such a touching film), burning candles, pancakes with honey and blackberries, more sleeping and the most perfect film, Scent of a Woman.

This, my friends, was my weekend. I hope yours was perfectly fine too?

Lemon cheese sandwiches for my little walk.
Grey brogues on a sunny day.
A typically English bowling green.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
My friend Walter.
A Grizzly Bear's picnic
Not quite there yet...
Tasty blackberries for our pancakes.
