Dear Betty…

My friend sent me a link to a fab website called Beg Bicycles  and I am officially in bicycle heaven. Bring! Bring! I am in love with a bike. Another bike. Best not tell Mathilde or she’ll throw a puncture on me.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Betty:

She reminds me of chocolate chip ice cream. Look at those wheels…swoon! Never fear, I could never swap my Mathilde for another but Beg Bicycles provides plenty more bits and pieces to ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ over. To start with, it’s all about the basket. I’ve yet to buy one as I thought it might be a bit too ‘twee’. But I don’t think I care anymore. I’m thinking of embracing the ‘twee’ and running off to the country with a baguette in the basket listening to Yann Tiersen.
