Awards!

I was chuffed, stoked, pleased as punch (all apply) to find that I was given a Kreativ Blogger award from the lovely & talented Georgia Coote and also by Kathryn Sharman a few weeks ago. I’ve blogged once before about Georgia’s fantastic work and wear her lovely button necklaces often! See her work here. I don’t know how she manages to create pattern after pattern daily but she does, long may it continue! Kathryn’s blog, Kat Got the Cream, is fab (note to self, update blogroll.) With tales of thrifting, dry hair shampoo and caravans, it’s now one of my favourite reads, how could it not be?

The Kreativ Blogger award simply encourages bloggers and showcase others. Let me say I am very much encouraged! I can’t tell you how much I love writing a blog and to know that a few people are reading makes it very special indeed. So thank you…

All I have to do  is pick 10 blogs that I read and love then entertain you all with 10 facts about me that you might not know!

Chosen ones! If you are happy to receive the award then simply pay it forward. Choose 10 blogs that you love including 10 facts about yourself…

7 – I play Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights on my iPod when riding on the bus across the moors…every single time.

8 – I’m not an organised person. I try. I fail. I pour myself a glass of wine to make myself feel better.

Thanks for the lovely shout out on the blog m’dear! And congrats on (several) well deserved nominations for this award. Your blog is a little ray of sunshine and I always enjoy it!

Oh and I’m completely with you on Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights (I’ve even considered having it played at my funeral in a really freaky, spooky, melodramatic kinda way he he).

thank you for picking me! I am delighted so I am!
i too am a freckly one, have a fondness for Kate’s The Kick Inside album & Babooshka (usually under the influence of alcohol…cue mental dancing and whirling of arms) & I am also disorganised even though I try SO hard not to be. Hey ho.
Anyhoo, I have paid it forward and blogged!
